The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is holding their annual Memory Walk in Castlerea on Sunday, September 21st, 2025. The event starts at 10am and everyone will meet at the green gates entrance to The Demesne at Knockroe, F45 A621. Participants will walk or stroll a 2.5km route to raise funds for the dementia support services in Roscommon. Here Michelle Shiel, local champion for Alzheimers in the County, chats with Adrianne about the walk and how the funding will help support the running of the Day Centre in Castlerea, which supports people with Dementia/Alzheimers and their Carers.
