We were delighted to welcome Sylvia Kent, renowned writer and journalist, to the studio for this month’s Book Club. Joining her was our special guest, Rachel Arnold—a talented writer, singer, blogger, and former presenter on the station.
Sylvia brought us up to date with the latest news from the Brentwood Writers’ Circle, Billericay Readers, and the Society of Women Writers and Journalists. She also gave us a fascinating insight into this month’s edition of her popular feature, 60 Second History, which focused on the history of WHSmith.
We also had an open and moving conversation with Rachel about her late diagnosis of ADHD, exploring how it has impacted both her personal life and creative work.
A thought-provoking and inspiring session all round!
