Today was football day with my cousins. It's probably been over a year since I last played, and it was rough, especially now that I'm almost a 35-year-old man and have been smoking for at least 15.

Well, my physical condition, despite being sedentary for a few years, isn't the worst. Even with age and bad habits working against me, and even though I don’t play football regularly, the skill I had when I was a kid is still there. My fitness… well, not so much.

We rented a synthetic grass field and played for about an hour and a half (I have no idea how I managed to last that long). It was exhausting, but really good! And I picked out one play I made during the match to share.

I was playing more in defense, since by the end I didn’t have the energy to keep running up and down the field. That’s when a surprise ball was sent to one of their strikers, and of course, I got to the play a bit late. But a bad touch made the ball bounce off, and at least at that moment, I was alert. I pulled off a "chapéu" (a sombrero flick), kept the ball in play, and set up a counterattack that ended in a goal.

My opponents were way younger than me, but still, this old guy can still pull off a few good plays! That move got a few laughs, and the rest is history!

Before you ask, yes, I played wearing sunglasses. I'm sensitive to bright light, and on cloudy days, it actually gets worse.

Eu estava jogando mais na defesa, porque, já no final, não tinha mais energia pra correr pra cima e pra baixo. Mas foi então que lançaram uma bola de surpresa para um dos atacantes e, claro, cheguei um pouco atrasado na jogada. Só que um domínio mal feito fez a bola espirrar e, pelo menos ali, eu estava atento. Então dei um "chapéu" e coloquei a bola em jogo para um contra-ataque, que resultou em gol.

Bem, meus adversários eram bem mais novos que eu, mas ainda assim, o velho aqui ainda dá conta de fazer algumas boas jogadas! Claro que esse drble rendeu algumas risadas e o resto é história!

Antes que perguntem, sim joguei de óculos escuros, tenho sensibilidade a claridade e nos dias dublados isso fica pior.

The heat here in Brazil is intense; according to some studies, this is the hottest year in recent years. With all this heat, I could have gone to a waterfall or even cooled off in the pool. But I decided to return to one of my favorite weekend spots, the UFJF Campus.

Dude, I really like it there because you can practice various sports within its perimeter. I've mentioned in some other posts that you can borrow a bike through an app. It's a cool way to explore the area and get some exercise too.

Well, I took the opportunity to do a little skateboarding. There are some great spots to skate around there, and the ground is pretty smooth, so I'm not afraid of getting my skateboard wheel caught in any gaps or holes. In this video, I explored a bit more of the UFJF campus and showed a bit more about the place. I remember I used to skate a lot when I was about 19; I made friends with some guys who were always skating, and that was when I skated the most. I could do some tricks, go down some ramps, and was always trying something different. But after a while, I didn't have as much contact with those friends, and gradually I stopped skating.

I'm not sure if I can do what I used to do now; not that I was a great skater back then, but gradually my confidence in skating is coming back. Maybe if I make friends with some guys here in my city, the process will be even easier. Maybe it's time to start going to skate parks again, but first, I need a more appropriate skateboard.

Domingo de sol e skate!

O calor aqui no Brasil está intenso; segundo alguns estudos, este é o ano mais quente dos últimos anos. Com todo esse calor, eu poderia ter ido para alguma cachoeira ou mesmo me refrescar na piscina. Mas decidi voltar para um dos meus lugares favoritos nos fins de semana, o Campus da UFJF.

Cara, eu gosto muito de lá, pois dá para praticar vários esportes em seu perímetro. Já mencionei em algum outro post que é possível pegar uma bike emprestada através de um aplicativo. Essa é uma maneira bem legal de passear pelo lugar e se exercitar também.

Bem, eu aproveitei para andar um pouco de skate. Por lá, existem uns lugares ótimos para andar, e o chão é bem regular, o que não me deixa com medo de agarrar a roda do skate em alguma fresta ou buraco. Nesse vídeo, eu explorei um pouco mais o perímetro da UFJF e mostrei um pouco mais sobre esse lugar. Para quem gosta de praticar manobras mais arriscadas ou explorar as estruturas do lugar, hoje vai conseguir ver um pouco mais do que o lugar oferece.

Ah! Em algum canto da UFJF, também existe uma pista de skate com rampas e corrimãos, mas dessa vez eu não fui para esses lados, já que lá o calor estava intenso por não possuir muitas sombras. Mas fica para uma próxima oportunidade!

Estou gostando bastante de andar de skate de novo, ainda estou bem enferrujado. Lembro-me de que andava muito quando eu tinha uns 19 anos; fiz amizade com uns caras que sempre andavam, e foi nessa época que eu mais andei de skate. Eu sabia fazer algumas manobras, descia de algumas rampas e estava sempre tentando algo diferente. Mas depois de um tempo, acabei não tendo tanto contato com esses amigos e aos poucos fui parando de andar.

Não sei se agora consigo fazer o que fazia antes; não que eu fosse, naquela época, um ótimo skatista, mas aos poucos minha confiança em andar está voltando. Talvez se eu fizer amizade com alguns caras aqui da minha cidade, o processo fique ainda mais fácil. Talvez seja a hora de frequentar as pistas de skate, mas antes preciso de um skate mais apropriado.

I haven't skated for three weeks, three weeks! So I was bored at home and I was in debt to my son. I had promised that we would go skateboarding over the weekend, but it rained a lot and I broke my promise. He got a taste for skateboarding, he loves gliding around on all four wheels!

For me, he likes to skateboard, it's great, I've always encouraged him to practice some sport. He plays football sometimes, but not as much of a fan as a Brazilian should be, so let's go skateboarding because his father approves!

I made this video with the best moments of our night, and man, what a great night. The weather was great!

The ever-present police were raiding some guys nearby.

A break to show this art by a graffiti artist that is spread across the city. Just on the way from the square where I was to my house, I found three of his drawings.

Caleb, my son, really liked this square, it was the first time he skated there. There is a part with a drop in level where it is easy to get caught up. The ground also helps a lot, it is very smooth and the skateboard picks up speed very quickly. But on the other hand, it is much more difficult and dangerous, as any small imbalance can lead to a fall. But falling is part of it and that's how you learn to walk. He fell once and was a little embarrassed, since it's a public square and a lot of people are passing by. But I told him that falling is part of it and he didn't get hurt, which is great!

But it was nice to get out of the mid-week routine. Over the weekend I plan to go to a rink that recently opened here in the city and maybe I'll borrow some skateboards to learn something there.

Fala comigo!

Três semanas que eu não ando de skate, três semanas! Então, eu estava entediado em casa e estava com uma dívida com meu filho. Eu tinha prometido que no fim de semana a gente ia andar de skate, mas choveu muito e quebrei minha promessa. Ele pegou gosto pelo skate, ta adorando deslizar com as 4 rodas por ai!

Ele gostar de andar de skate para mim ta sendo ótimo, sempre incentivei ele a praticar algum esporte. Ele joga futebol as vezes, mas não tão fã quanto um brasileiro deveria ser, então bora andar de skate que o pai aprova!

Fiz esse vídeo com os melhores momentos da nossa noite, e cara, que noite agradável. O clima estava ótimo!

A polícia sempre presente estava dando uma batida em uns caras ali por perto.

Uma pausa pra mostrar essa arte de algum grafiteiro que esta espalhado pela cidade. Só no caminho da praça onde eu estava até a minha casa, achei três de seus desenhos.

Caleb, o meu filho, gostou muito dessa praça, foi a primeira vez que ele andou de skate ali. Lá tem uma parte com um desnível que é fácil pegar embalo. O chão também ajuda bastante, ele é bem liso e o skate pega velocidade bem rápido. Mas em contraponto, é bem mais difícil e perigoso, já que qualquer pequeno desequilíbrio pode virar um tombo. Mas cair faz parte e é assim que se aprende a andar. Ele caiu uma vez e ficou um pouco envergonhado, já que lá é um praça pública e muitas pessoas estão passando por lá. Mas avisei pra ele que cair faz parte e ele não se machucou o que já é ótimo!

## Hello Holozing community!

Today I would like to present another work in Play-Doh, the Water Whale!

I chose to create this character because it was a little simpler than the ones I made previously. However, despite its simplicity, it wasn't as easy as I imagined. I believe I'm getting better at reproducing, because, as I mentioned before, my main skill is creating something from scratch. However, it has been an interesting experience.

The choice of Water Whale, as I mentioned previously, was motivated by its simplicity and also by its friendly appearance, which will fit in very well with the other characters I have created previously, such as Fire Wolf and Miu. I'm satisfied with this choice and my next creation will be his evolution, the Waller, which has details that will require more work. I'm looking forward to starting this new project.

The process for creating the Water Whale begins with the colorimetry of the dough, which is white. I add blue paint and a little black to get the desired tone. Firstly, I structured the body to have a parameter in the creation of the other parts.

Then, I modeled the fin and its details, the tail and, finally, the dorsal fin. Then it was time for the eyes, which was the most meticulous part of the entire job. I decided to make the eyes out of clay too, since my last attempt at painting the eyes on the Fire Wolf didn't turn out as well as I wanted. Choosing to shape the eyes this way was a good choice; They were good, very close to what I wanted. I intend to maintain this technique for future work, even if it takes a little longer.

Well, I really liked the result! It wasn't difficult to get it into the position I wanted, and I found a suitable balance so that it remained in the desired shape. The limbs, as well as the body, were very close to the original. It was a good experience and left me excited for the next creation.

Hoje gostaria de apresentar mais um trabalho em biscuit, o Water Whale!

As mentioned in a previous post, I resumed crafting miniatures and I'm loving creating some characters from Holozing. This time, I made a miniature of the character MIU! He's very cute and I thought, "this character would look great on my miniature shelf, keeping company with another Holozing character, Fire Wolf."

The process of creating Miu was quite enjoyable. I used only black paint on white clay, in sufficient quantity to make him gray. The biggest challenge during the 3 hours I spent sculpting Miu was painting the eyes and the surrounding fur. I only use primary colors in my stock, so for any other color I need, I have to mix the primary colors. I had to create the pink color for the ears and nose, as well as the green color used on the inside of the eyes. The most challenging part for me was painting the eyes and mouth with just paint. Next time, I'll add these details with the clay itself.

I drew inspiration from an art piece by @mario02 to create this miniature; I found his artwork incredible and it inspired me to make a miniature.

In this creation, I used a modeling clay called Biscuit. It's excellent for creating frames and miniatures in crafts. The downside of this material is that it shrinks as it dries, but aside from that, it's a good material to work with.

It was another very enjoyable experience, and soon my shelf will be filled with characters from Holozing!

Como mencionado em um post anterior, retomei a escultura de miniaturas e estou adorando criar alguns personagens do Holozing. Desta vez, fiz uma miniatura do personagem MIU! ### Today I've brought you a miniature I made out of polymer clay of a character from Holozing, the Fire Wolf.

Boy, it's been a long time since I worked with polymer clay. To be honest, this was only the second time I've made a character in this design style. Although it's a bit simpler, it's not exactly what I used to do in the past. I've always read a lot of books and tried to represent the characters I imagined through modeling and sculpture, so I do better at that. But after a few years without getting my hands dirty (literally), I'm back!

The first character I made in this revival was Pikachu, but I did it just to test my skills and see if I was still good at it. I ended up doing well, even though I spent a lot of time on it.

So, after making this Pikachu and liking the result, I went in search of something more challenging and chose Fire Wolf to reproduce. On the surface, it looked like it was going to be an easy job, but it wasn't. I only discovered this during the process. It took more than four hours to make this character, and I recorded most of the process, except for the final part. Something went wrong with my cell phone and I lost the most important part. Unfortunately, these things happen, but I still have 3 hours of video that I reduced to 16 minutes with the edits.

Maybe I was a bit nervous about being filmed while doing something like that. It was the first time I recorded my process.

Wow, it took me 3 days to finish this job. This is due to the waiting time needed for some parts to dry and for me to be able to manipulate them without ruining what had already been done.

Well, the result was pretty close to what I wanted. Some parts were quite difficult to reproduce. Painting some details is where I have the most difficulty. As I don't know where I put my old tools, I had to improvise, which made things even more complicated. I'm not a professional in this area; I just do it as a hobby and because I enjoy it.

Today, my computer finally arrived! It's been a long 15 days of waiting, but when the delivery person rang the doorbell, all that anxiety passed, and I rushed to get my package! Today, I'm going to share with you the unboxing of my new toy. Everything arrived as expected, without anything damaged and working perfectly.

It's been a little over a year since I bought my old computer. It's not bad, and I got it for a very good price. But I decided to buy a new one, much better than the previous one, because I have a greater need for a more powerful computer. Recently, I enrolled in a technology college, and I know that having a better computer will help me a lot in this aspect.

I want to explore things that my old computer didn't allow. It was weak, it didn't have a good graphics card, actually, it was basic, a very good basic, but it wasn't enough for the moment I'm going to experience from now on. With this new machine, things will flow much better!

Someone who benefited from this whole story was my son; he's going to inherit the computer that was retired prematurely.

This new computer has an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD, A520 Motherboard. It also came with a LED keyboard and mouse set (and mousepad), a 23' full HD monitor, and a headset. I paid around $520 for this computer. I plan to add a few more items to further improve its performance, maybe another graphics card and more RAM. But I'll test it to see if it's really necessary to add anything, time will tell!

I'm still adapting, but so far, it seems like an excellent computer, much better compared to the previous one, no doubt!

Today I woke up with a great pain in my ankle, and the cause of it was the unsuccessful manual sequence during the skate ride I had yesterday. It was Sunday night, and I remembered that @xvlad challenged me to create a post per week. I almost let the last stage of this challenge slip away, so I hurried to a plaza near my house. Even if I had remembered it earlier, there was nothing I could do. There was a rainstorm that uprooted trees, but the night was good to test the rolling of my skateboard.

Well, I'm becoming more and more confident, and I'm already trying different things on the skateboard. On some occasions, I managed to pull off an almost perfect manual, but there was no one to record it. Perhaps it's not so difficult to do that for someone who always rides a skateboard on as unstable a board as I have, but for me, it's quite challenging. Starting, or rather, restarting skateboarding is proving to be a challenge. But it's the same old story, there's nothing better than practicing something consistently to get good at it. Given this experience that is being relived, I'm enjoying it a lot and I'll keep practicing. I can't wait to be able to do some cooler tricks and build that into a more attractive video. I see some guys doing incredible things, and their videos are awesome, so maybe my time will come.

Bem, estou cada vez mais confiante e já estou tentando coisas diferentes em cima do skate. Em algumas ocasiões, consegui fazer um manual quase perfeito, mas não tinha ninguém para gravar. Talvez não seja tão difícil fazer isso para quem sempre anda de skate em um skate tão instável quanto o que tenho, mas para mim é bem difícil. Começar, ou melhor, recomeçar a andar de skate está sendo um desafio. Mas é aquela velha história, nada melhor do que praticar algo com constância para ficar bom. Bem, ainda não estou bom, mas estou ficando melhor.

Diante dessa experiência que está sendo revivida, estou gostando muito e vou continuar praticando. Agora, pretendo comprar um skate convencional que permita fazer algumas manobras e tentar aprender a andar de uma vez por todas. Não vou mais poder colocar a culpa no skate. Quem sabe o @boeltermc não aparece por aqui qualquer dia para me dar umas aulas. Preciso de um mestre por perto, haha!

Mas é isso. Talvez eu continue postando por aqui, afinal, essa será uma das coisas que pretendo fazer uma vez por semana. Estou gostando muito de andar de skate novamente.

Essa também foi a primeira vez que eu parei para editar um vídeo e demorei bastante tempo para concluí-lo. Ainda não sei onde ficam as ferramentas e nem para que servem algumas delas; toda edição foi feita através do Canva, que é onde tenho mais costume de usar. Mais uma experiência que voltar a andar de skate está me trazendo.

Eu não vejo a hora de poder fazer umas manobras mais legais e poder construir isso em um vídeo mais atraente. Vejo alguns caras fazendo coisas incríveis, e os vídeos deles são irados, então talvez a minha hora ainda chegue.

Elaestá presente em nossas casas, com "casas inteligentes" que permitem controlar aparelhos remotamente, ajustar a temperatura e monitorar a segurança e etc.

Outro avanço que tem despertado grande interesse é a inteligência artificial (IA). Essa área busca criar máquinas capazes de executar tarefas que requerem inteligência, como reconhecimento de voz, tomada de decisões e até mesmo na parte artistica.A IA está sendo aplicada em diversos setores como assistentes virtuais como a Siri e a Alexa, até carros autônomos, que utilizam algoritmos de aprendizado para navegar nas ruas de forma autônoma. Na área da saúde, a IA auxilia no diagnóstico médico, analisando grandes volumes de dados e identificando padrões que podem levar a diagnósticos mais precisos e tratamentos mais eficazes.

Outra tecnologia que tem recebido muita atenção é a blockchain. Essa tecnologia de registro, permite a criação de um banco de dados descentralizado, transparente e seguro. O blockchain é amplamente conhecido por sua aplicação em criptomoedas, como o Bitcoin.

Concluindo, os avanços tecnológicos estão moldando o futuro. A evolução da tecnologia esta avançando em um ritmo acelerado, precisamos estar atualizado sobre essa transformação que vem acontecendo e nos preparar para aproveitar as oportunidades que surgirem!

Eai pessoal! Hoje eu fiz um vídeo sobre a campanha da marca Dove que se chama "Retratos da real beleza". O objetivo principal da campanha era desafiar os estereótipos de beleza padronizada e promover uma visão mais ampla e inclusiva da beleza feminina.
