Tom Cruise recently received a lifetime achievement award from the Academy for services to film. This reminded me of an occasion back in 2004 when Blake Edwards received a lifetime achievement Academy Award and was abley assisted by Jim Carrey and stuntman Mickey Gilbert....this is that story....enjoy
