Micro actions for macro results

I've been thinking a lot about resistance lately.   

I've been thinking about my clients (and myself) and those who are stuck in it.

I've also been paying attention to what it takes to push THROUGH it in order to get to the goals we have set for ourselves.    In this episode I talk quickly about two things that I want you to try, in order to get out of this resistance:

1) Choose your goal, consider the actions you believe you have to take in order to reach that goal ... and then look at the ASSOCIATIONS you have made (in your mind) with those actions.  Seriously.  It's WHAT WE MAKE IT MEAN that is the issue here.   

and then 

2) Look back at the actions you wrote out and choose one MICRO action that you are willing (and able) to do fairly easily.  Make a contract with yourself ... that you will do that ONE THING every freaking day.   If you feel resistance, it's too big.  Find a smaller action.   Once you have completed that and you get into the swing of THAT one (so that it feels easy) then choose to add on one more micro-action.

** Try as best as you can to complete the action in the morning, when you have the most energy and the least resistance (and the least built up BS excuses).  If you can do more ... then do more.
