This is one of my favourite meditations.  I LOVE having a conversation with my most powerful self ... I love asking her questions, I love seeing what she looks like and I love the moments when I feel like her.

BEFORE YOU START:  Grab a pen and paper.  Write out any questions that you may have to ask your next level self (if you have any in advance).    Try as best as you can to find a space where you are uninterrupted for the next 17 minutes.  

DURING THE MEDITATION:  If you wish to have a longer period of time in discussion with your next level self you are free to pause the recording in order to do so.  Keep the pen and paper nearby so that you can write down what comes to mind, if you so choose.

AFTER THE MEDITATION:   Take some time to reflect on the conversation you have had with your next level self.    What would you like to shift in your life, in order to step into THAT version of yourself right now?

Now go do it.   A quantum leap could be around the corer .... ;)

I've been thinking a lot about resistance lately.   

I've been thinking about my clients (and myself) and those who are stuck in it.

I've also been paying attention to what it takes to push THROUGH it in order to get to the goals we have set for ourselves.    In this episode I talk quickly about two things that I want you to try, in order to get out of this resistance:

1) Choose your goal, consider the actions you believe you have to take in order to reach that goal ... and then look at the ASSOCIATIONS you have made (in your mind) with those actions.  Seriously.  It's WHAT WE MAKE IT MEAN that is the issue here.   

and then 

2) Look back at the actions you wrote out and choose one MICRO action that you are willing (and able) to do fairly easily.  Make a contract with yourself ... that you will do that ONE THING every freaking day.   If you feel resistance, it's too big.  Find a smaller action.   Once you have completed that and you get into the swing of THAT one (so that it feels easy) then choose to add on one more micro-action.

** Try as best as you can to complete the action in the morning, when you have the most energy and the least resistance (and the least built up BS excuses).  If you can do more ... then do more.

Good GRIEF I wanted everything to be perfect before I started.  I mean, given that my trip switch is "unfair judgement from others" you can see why I would stop myself from taking messy action.

But yet ... in November 2023 ... I really saw just how powerful, messy inspired action can be.

Understanding the ALLOWANCE piece has been by far, the biggest #click moment (and most transformational) that I've had in my journey.

When I was creating this meditation/visualization (in the dark, like I always do) the hair on my arms stood up SO MANY TIMES.  I think this is the most powerful meditation and I can't wait to see what you think!  Be sure to grab your journal and pen so that you can quickly write out any messages that you may receive while in the meditation (it's more interactive than most of them are in this program thus far).

NOTE:  It is highly possible that you will not receive ANY messages during this meditation and THAT IS OK!!!!  Sometimes, we aren't ready to receive them ... sometimes we aren't MEANT to.  Just relax, remove any judgement and see what comes through each time you listen.

When we truly sit in awareness of everything ... our inner talk track, our emotional soundtrack, the environment we are in, the people we connect with, the habits we have ... it can be hard to look at.  I mean SOMETIMES ... we are our own worst enemies and so that goopy mess between caterpillar and butterfly can be nasty

But yet ...

There is BEAUTY in it.  

When we can become aware of where we are ... and also ... where (and WHO) we desire to be ... we can begin to make the necessary changes we NEED to in order to step into our own power again.

ACCEPTANCE WEEK in The Power of You, is about seeing the beauty in this goop stage.  

Seeing the power of LOOKING in the mirror, while releasing the judgement of what it is that we "think" we see.  It's still goopy lol ... but we are starting to notice that it's pretty and glistening and truly a beautiful gift. 

This week's meditation is a cool one as well.  It can be done while sitting or lying down or in the bath (which is where I like to do most of my meditation).  In addition though ... once you get the hang of it ... you can do this on your own in the shower!!!!!  (Ok NOW I've got you listening, don't I????)

This has been one of my most popular meditations to date.  

It provides you with a gentle way to let go of those thoughts and feelings and judgements that are holding you back from all that you desire.

Feel free to use this daily or whenever you feel weighed down by your talk track.

Remember:  judgement (even your own) is not truth
