With Sony's dramatic decision to pull Cyberpunk 2077 from its digital store shelves, all eyes turned towards Microsoft and Xbox.

And what did the gaming giant decide to do? As it turns out, it mostly held firm - defending developer (and marketing partner) CD Projekt Red (CDPR) from the slings and arrows of gamers' discontent, but also hedging its bets by offering refunds to any and all players who want one.
