52.) Tech Talk: Bluetooth
Between Heather and Austin’s various lifestyle choices, they both manage to have a variety of tech issues. Here’s a few that relate to the technology of bluetooth.
Heather has very specific bluetooth issues. .
Austin feels that it only barely counts as technology, since it doesn’t seem to work that well.
We encourage you to help with our Patreon Fundraiser, where we are working with Michael Cassutt to create an audio-drama version of his lost vintage Max Headroom script, “Families.” So if you help support Austin Rich so he doesn’t have to punch a clock, then we can get more of this kind of material to you, quickly.
In our next episode, will will either feature another one of our “Maxis,” or a discussion regarding one last piece of Max-related media, before we dive into our “Season 2” Series. Stay tuned for more information!

51.) Women Reporting On War
A few more thoughts on the reality of women reporting on war, and how spot-on the episode, “War” of Max Headroom is with regards to that story.
Heather is on assignment.
Austin is a big Brooke Gladstone fanboy.
Here’s a link to the WNYC / On The Media story they did about this.

50.) Max Headroom: The Unofficial Soundtrack: Rakers
A new perk for folks who support us on Patreon: A download of “The Unofficial Soundtrack” to “Rakers,” the S1E2 US Episode of Max Headroom.
Heather has not heard this yet!
Austin has been wanting something like this for years.
Using AI tools to create new tracks from a digital copy of the US episode, “Rakers,” these tracks were imported into a digital workstation, where we created 35 tracks of music and audio, straight from a show that was broadcast on ABC Television in 1987. Now you can get it, once you support us on Patreon!
That’s 25 Minutes of synthesizer jams and music by Cory Lerios, edited by Dick Bernstein and supervised by Richard Berres. This music has never been released in any practical format, and has only been available in the background of this broadcast. Listen, now, without that pesky dialog overtop!
But you also get!
10 Minutes of Bonus Material! Enjoy samples of Max Himself! All essential elements of the broadcast! Also available here!
And!
Max Headroom Ambience Recordings! We couldn’t eliminate the SFX from the music, and why would be want to! But when we could, we were able to create 10 minutes of “ambience,” of what it is like to hang out at Network 23, or in the boardroom… maybe even Bryce’s Lab! The sounds of Max Headroom for this episode of the US show were created by Gary Alexander, Tim Philben & Bill Theiderman (sound mixers), Clark Conrad, Brad Sherman & James Wolvington (sound editors), Ricard Corwin & Richard Taylor (supervising sound editor), Doug Grindstaff (sound manager), Joe Kenworth (production sound mixer) and Larry Tozzi (post sound coordinator).
So, if this sounds like something you would like, then, support us on Patreon, and get the Unofficial Soundtrack. patreon.com/austinrich. The music of the 21st Century.
In our next episode, will will either feature another one of our “Maxis,” or a discussion regarding one last piece of Max-related media, before we dive into our “Season 2” Series. Stay tuned for more information!
