The book of Revelation is doing many things, one of the major ones giving believers hope that God will make all things right one day. Again, we see miracle after miracle showcasing and proving Jesus’ deity - and the question is are people willing to hear and believe as the passages earlier said “he who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

In Second Peter, Peter encourages suffering Christians to keep following Jesus, and as we read Mark, we see the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. Pastor Grant Staubs & Hannah Staubs explain that both in 2 Peter and Mark want us to grow in godliness; in 2 Peter, it’s through staying faithful in suffering and Mark, faithfully following Jesus.
