If you are like me and come from a background filled with a rich, beautiful culture from a foreign country that our ancestors, parents etc migrated from in order to make a "better life" in the USA... you will likely understand all too well that not EVERYONE in our families was super excited about us starting a small business, let alone supportive.

This has a major impact on the way we actually make decisions regarding said business ourselves. Family is EVERYTHING to most minority cultures and the idea of "dishonoring" our parents after ALL the sacrifices they made to bless us with the privileges we have is the LAST thing we want to do, in fact we so desperately WANT to do what we do so that we can return the favor and grant them a life they never imagined they could have. I promise, those fears and scarcity ideologies might be passed on for decades but you can absolutely stop the cycle.

Today's episode explains why we tend to doubt ourselves, where those fear based feelings derive from in reference to our culture/traditions and how it effects our business, but most importantly, what to do next and how we can combat them or even learn to use them in our favor.
