The Division Series are underway and we had 6 entertaining games to get us started that featured a 4 inning save by a closer, almost 2 of them actually, a no-hitter being brought into the 8th inning, a crazy walk off vs the best closer in baseball and so much more to unpack
The Wildcard Series weren't as close as they were last year. It felt like 4 teams were just overmatched in all aspects of the game and it really showed. For today's episode we are going over all 4 of the matchups as well as previewing the 4 Division Series and the 8 remaining teams fighting for the World Series Title
Game 162 has come and gone, and for 18 teams, that means sitting around for whenever baseball comes back, but for those other 12 teams, a chance at greatness begins. The 2026 postseason is here and it starts with the wildcard round, 4 matchups that we've all seen in the past 5 years, 2 of which we saw last year. A chance for revenge, a chance to take down the Dodgers? So many questions and all will have answers in October baseball
The last series is finally here. 3 games left and still so much to be decided. The AL Central, AL West are still up for grabs, and outside of seeding, there is still one spot left in the NL Wildcard that has 2 teams fighting over it. 4 teams fighting for the last 2 spots of the postseason which begins next week.
The final week of the baseball season is upon us. Just 6 more games before the postseason and with the CBA looming, these baseball games might be the last time you watch your favourite team for a while if they aren't making it to the postseason. And speaking of that, we have 6 spots still up for grabs and 11 teams still in the hunt, although it feels like 4 teams are dead men walking, leaving 6 spots for 7 teams, but I've seen crazier things before
Now with just 3 series remaining, we have 2 divisions won, 4 teams clinched, and still 10 teams needing to be eliminated. And a far as we know, after this weekend, that 10, could be down to just 3. There's not that much time left, so if your team is still in it, they got to keep winning to stay in it
2 weeks of the season left and we finally had our first 2 teams punch their tickets to the postseason. Both the Brewers and Rays will play October baseball but there is still 10 more spots available and only 4 series left for teams to claim them
We had some great series this week and some very entertaining baseball. We added a couple more eliminations from the postseason this year and stand on the doorsteps of our first few teams officially punching their tickets to the dance. With 5 series left, and about 20 teams still fighting anything can still happen
Games and series keep getting shorter and shorter. For today's episode we go over the August players of the month as well as take a look at the first 2 teams that were eliminated from postseason contention this season. As well as 2 other teams that have more work to do after really bad 4 game series at home
Cubs finished August with a bang. They had an insane game vs the Brewers hitting 9 home runs. And speaking of home runs, rookies who have made their MLB debut and homered on that same day have set an MLB record with 15 different rookies doing so this year. The race for the postseason continues now with 7 series left to go
