The midierror meets... interview series is back with Sonicstate, speaking to all kinds of people working in music and sound. 

This time we catch up with Jake Knight of RYK Modular; who started the company working on Roland System 100M replicas, and has since built up a collection of superb modules of his own including Night Rider, Algo, and Vector Wave - with many available in kit form as well as finished units. 

Jake's also an award-winning film director having created the 'Salaryman 6' short film (shown below) with his wife Ryoko Tanaka, and together as Ne-o they've made music videos for The Chemical Brothers, The Herbaliser, Coldcut and others. They continue to work on RYK Modules together, as Jake explains...
