Iran launches missiles into US air bases in Iraq as a retaliation for the assassination of Soleimani, and then a Ukraine airline flight crashes during take off in Tehran, now believed to be a ground to air missile from Iran's defence system. Ryan and Alex join me to discuss the intended and unintended escalation of "World War 3".

Trump just killed Soleimani and everyone is predicting World War 3. Shaun and Alex join me to give their views on this move by the white house, the possibility of war with Iran, and the continuing impeachment saga. It's a political episode, hold on tight!

Erika Ehler is a comic from Toronto who has just moved to London..... that's London England, not Ontario. Peter Davies and I welcome Erika to London with a series of British snacks that she hasn't tried before, this leads on to many conversations including toilet paper socialism, the cereal (toy) isle, Dead or Alive Volleyball, and anti-social cinema foods to name but a few.

I recently was exposed to a style of stand up comedy that I didn't know existed. A man took to the stage and played multiple characters in a series of sketches, combining impressions, acting, absurdism, satire, surrealism, and straight up jokes into a hilarious one man show. His name is Will Franken and he truly is one of a kind. The first clip I saw was about Extinction Rebellion and featured Will's interpretation of Greta Thunberg, I highly recommend you watch at least this clip before checking out this podcast, just so you have a flavour of what Will does.... and so you can laugh your ass off!

I sat down with Will for an awesome in depth conversation about comedy, how he got started and developed his act, his career, and this led on to a broader conversation about entertainment and the world we inhabit. Too many subjects to list here, buckle up for an exploration of a fascinating mind and one of the few comedians who are out there pushing the limits of what is possible on stage. This is a man who at one point in his career was writing and performing a new 90 minute show every month, and he almost never writes anything down!

Ryan tells me about his time living in The House of Marx, a Socialist household that he lived in with his friends and the impact that this had on his views of Marxism. It's an interesting story that that leads us in to discussing many topics including Jordan Peterson, comic books, video games, woke culture, trolling, online arguments, social justice warriors, democracy, Trudeau, AI and much more.
