Life moves fast, and time seems to slip through our fingers. Sometimes, days pass, and “we don't have time” to pray. Let us study Psalm 5, in which King David practices some principles we could apply to improve our prayer life.

En el Salmo 103, David dirige nuestra adoración a un Dios que rescata a los pecadores de su desesperación para bendecirlos con su amor y su gracia. Aunque es justo al juzgar, perdona para bendecir. Cuando llegamos a su presencia, nos sentimos abrumados por su amor.

In Psalm 103, David directs our worship to a God who rescues sinners from their desperation in order to bless them with his love and grace. Though he would be just in issuing judgment, he forgives in order to bless. When we come into his presence, we are overwhelmed by his love.

What should we do when times are hard and we seem to be at the bottom of a pit we cannot escape?
In Psalm 40 David writes a beautiful song and prayer to God remembering the deliverance God has already worked in his life and trusting that God will deliver him again. Those of us who are in Christ also get to remember our deliverance from the eternal consequences of sin and shame! These stories of deliverance are meant to be shared for the building up of the body of Christ!

Psalm 2 highlights the rebellion of the nations against God's sovereign rule, His response and promise of judgment through His Son, and the call for the nations to seek refuge in Him.
