Luke 7:18-35; It is human nature to seek our own well-being by taking control over our circumstances; yet we cannot step into God's kingdom without releasing our circumstances to God in faith.

Luke 7:1-17; Sometimes we have to come to a point of realizing we can't help ourselves for us to receive the help God wants to give us...that's the power of HUMILITY.

Luke 6:27-49

Luke 6:12-26; Jesus calls the Twelve, then preaches a sermon on the "up-side-down" nature of the kingdom, where the poor are blessed and the rich have no special favors. Is this what the disciples signed on for?

Luke 5:33-6:11; No one will understand Jesus & his mission without a heart open to put the SPIRIT of the law (love, compassion, reconciliation) ahead of the LETTER of the law (rules, regulations, conformity)
