Before he became a pioneer in missions, theology, apologetics, and ultimately martyrdom, the man known by his Roman name Paul was known by his Jewish name Saul, and as such he established a pattern of persecuting the Church that can be seen throughout the long history of Christianity.

Rob Sivulka lives in Salt Lake City. He has degrees in theology, philosophy and ethics. For many years he has had various ministries specifically to Latter-day Saints. He and his wife have a ministry that gives support to ex-Mormons. He shares some of this background, some of the responses he has had, and ways to be discerning regarding claims of a modern-day prophet.
