  • Ep. 5 Narrowing vision on broadheads

This week Pat and I discuss the first investigations on broadheads, followed by Pat's mountain bike rigs. We review from last week the light versus temp argument for fishing in the dog days of summer and how it's probably malarkey. In the news this week, we have deer sighting reports in Wisconsin, pheasant destinations in Illinois, alligators in Michigan now, and Indiana DNR needs your help!! Next episode the news may be a bit different because we decided if we cannot find anything earth shattering in a state, we will report on what we're going to call "Hidden Gems." Smokin' Bill smoked us up a treat called the Triscut, nope not a cracker, and he previews next weeks smoke with a little teaser. Always remember if you can hear this podcast, that means you can be on it. Email us at [email protected] if you have and tips, tricks, news, recipes to try, or now featuring the "Hidden Gems" in your state. Next week we my finally have Kelsey give us a visit. Thanks for listening and please spread the word we are here!!!

  • Ep. 4 Early Bird Receives No Such Worm

We started this week's episode by petting wild deer, seriously. This week's news segments include an unexplainable carp kill in Michigan, not so natural alligators in Indiana, a makeshift state park in Illinois, and back to wolf talk in Wisconsin. Today's discussion is how Jim has been getting completely skunked the last 2 weeks but with a very interesting and controversial tip from another fisherman. I thought about this all day after hearing it and it goes against everything most of us has ever heard and instinctively think. But will it work? Smokin' Bill has a very quick affordable smoke for us, this is due to his recent work load in his professional life, he will have more time on the weekends again soon enough. Pat gives us a taste at great mountain biking in southern Indiana but will elaborate more when he's very certain of himself. Thanks for listening!!!
