Are men responsible for impregnating women and if so does that mean women are powerless and have no voice or choice in deciding to become a mother?

 

Even if one were to say, yes it is irresponsible of men not to think and create children they cannot and will not support, how successful has society been in holding men accountable? Is child support enough?

Equally responsible is that the same as saying equally accountable?
