Dorcas Restored to Life Acts 9:36-43

The supernatural power of God is given to His followers according to Mark 16.

But so is the ability of showing good works which we are called to do and not overlook those who cannot be kind back to you.

In Acts chapter 9 we see the life of a woman, a disciple of Christ, whose name was Tabitha, translated to Dorcas.

She was full of good works and charitable deeds.

She was faithful at following the Great Commission.

Her name defined her character.

Tabitha, translated as Dorcas, means Gazelle or Gracious.

Gazelle – small animal who is graceful and fast

Gracious- showing mercy, compassion and forgiveness

James 1:27 Pure religion – is to minister to the fatherless and widows and keep yourself pure from the world.

This woman was full of good words and charitable deeds which she did.

Carmen, almost did not make it to House of Glory due to HEAVY body pain from head to toe. She knew she did not want to miss out on the Glory of God, so she pushed her self to go. As she entered into the service where the Glory of The Lord was, the pain left her, yes, from head to toe! Praise be to God!
