Global leaders are responding amid the latest outbreak of conflict in the Middle East.
British PM Keir Starmer has said the UK will move military assets, including fighter jets, closer to the region.
US President Donald Trump has posted about the Israel-Iran conflict on social media, in what appears to be an attempt to distance the United States from Israel's latest strikes against Iran.
"The U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight," he wrote.
The US was due to engage in talks with Iran on Sunday over its nuclear program, before Israel's attack led to their cancellation by Tehran.
Foreign minister Penny Wong told ABC Insiders she had spoken with Iran's foreign minister and the Israeli government through its ambassador, urging both to show restraint.
"I directly put to the Iranian foreign minister: 'We are saying to you, exercise restraint, return to diplomacy and dialogue,' because continuing to escalate this has consequences for all peoples of the region and I think that is a position that so many countries in the world are putting to not only the Iranians, but also to the Israelis," Senator Wong said.
