    In today's Fix of entertainment news:
    Predator: Badlands got a bad-ass new trailer, and eagle-eyed fans spotted a few references to sister franchise Alien. Could this be a tease for an Alien vs Predator 3? Or maybe a full-on reboot of that crossover series? In other movie news, there's a Toys 'R' Us movie in the works from the team that brought us the Sonic the Hedgehog movies. There's no script yet, but it will apparently follow other toy and fantasy-based films such as the Tom Hanks-classic Big, and the Night at the Museum films.
    Presented by: Universal Studios Hollywood, and its new after-hours event, Universal Fan Fest Nights.

    The second season of Andor takes place as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Rife with political intrigue and danger, the series is a prequel to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” which portrayed a heroic band of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction—The Death Star—setting the stage for the events of the original 1977 film. “Andor” sets the clock back five years from the events of “Rogue One” to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny.
    The series was created by Tony Gilroy, who also serves as an executive producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, Luke Hull and John Gilroy. Tony Gilroy wrote the first three episodes, with Beau Willimon writing episodes 4-6, Dan Gilroy penning episodes 7-9 and Tom Bissell putting pen to paper for episodes 10-12. The directors for the series are Ariel Kleiman (Eps. 1-6), Janus Metz (Eps. 7-9) and Alonso Ruizpalacios (Eps. 10-12).

    In today's Daily Fix:
    As you probably already know, Nintendo will be offering upgraded Switch 2 versions of select Switch 1 games, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its sequel, Tears of the Kingdom. However, those upgrades aren't free (depending on if you're a Switch Online member or not), and they're not all the same price. The Japanese edition upgrades of Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Super Mario Party Jamboree will cost $20, instead of the Zelda games' $10. And speaking of the Switch 2, did you get one? Preorders for U.S. customers went live at midnight last night, and it wasn't exactly smooth sailing for many. Let us know in the comments how you were able to snag one if you did. And finally, if you still have money to burn, you can preorder a life-size Eevee and its evolved forms.

Determined to correct the record and tell the factual story of his life, Reubens excavates his kaleidoscopic influences, origins in the circus and avant-garde performance theater, and career choices, while reflecting on the reasoning behind, and the consequences of, severing his beloved alter ego from his authentic self.

From the “Dating Game” to regular appearances on “The David Letterman Show,” Reubens never broke character, living his dream of doing performance art in mainstream pop culture. When Reubens was arrested at an adult movie theater in 1991, his anonymity was destroyed and he fell prey to the media’s growing appetite for salacious and spurious takedowns.
    Occasionally sparring with the documentary’s director over creative control, Reubens speaks candidly, and sometimes warily, about his personal and professional challenges before and after his arrests. Alongside interviews with artists and actors from “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” and prominent figures in his life, Reubens openly discusses further legal battles, his exoneration, his ultimate resurrection as a public figure, and the apotheosis of Pee-wee as an adored and enduring cultural icon.
