Oil markets remain tight as supply strains lead to modest inventory builds.
➡️ Inventories are very low, with average daily stock builds falling to around 400,000 to 500,000 barrels in the first half of the year — less than half the 1.3 million barrels seen on average from 2020 to 2024.
➡️ “Even if you strip out the Covid effects, it’s still lower than what we’ve seen in recent years,” said Amrita Sen, founder and director of research at Energy Aspects.
