CNBC’s Dan Murphy reports from Umm Lulu - a massive ADNOC Offshore platform located 40km off the coast of Abu Dhabi. This high-capacity site is one of the UAE’s most advanced oil fields, with the ability to produce up to 135,000 barrels of oil per day.
➡️ Built and engineered in the UAE, Umm Lulu is central to ADNOC’s strategy to ramp up domestic manufacturing and energy output. The facility plays a key role in supporting both the national economy and global energy security.
➡️ The visit follows a high-profile week in UAE-U.S. energy relations, after President Trump’s landmark trip to the region. His meeting with ADNOC CEO Dr. Sultan Al Jaber saw new commitments under a $440 billion energy investment plan — part of a wider $1.4 trillion UAE-U.S. economic corridor.
