President Donald Trump said he would impose secondary sanctions on nations or companies buying Iranian oil, ratcheting up pressure on Tehran as nuclear talks with the US hit a snag.
“Any Country or person who buys ANY AMOUNT of OIL or PETROCHEMICALS from Iran will be subject to, immediately, Secondary Sanctions,” Trump said in a Thursday post on social media. “They will not be allowed to do business with the United States of America in any way, shape, or form.”
