President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the U.S. has had a "really good" relationship with China recently. "They've been very fair on our trade deal, honestly," the president said.
The two nations agreed to a trade framework in June, though few details have been revealed. In response to Trump’s threat of an additional 10% tariff on BRICS countries, a spokesperson for Chinese Foreign Ministry said at a regular press briefing Monday that China opposed any action of using tariffs as “a tool to coerce others.”
