Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy discusses steps his agency is taking to upgrade air traffic control systems and hire more controllers in the U.S.
"We have to update all of the infrastructure and technology around air traffic control," Duffy told CNBC's "Squawk Box."
"We got $12.5 billion in the 'big, beautiful bill,' down payment. We're going to need $31.5 billion to do the whole job," he added.
