The Trump administration has come under fire after releasing a video using a popular TikTok meme to highlight its immigration enforcement.
The video shows people in chains being escorted onto planes and is accompanied by the soundtrack of British tour operator Jet2holiday's 2022 commercial, featuring the voiceover of Zoe Lister and Jess Glynne's hit song 'Hold My Hand'.
Social media users have described the video as “vile” and “shameful”.
Lister has also hit out at the use of her voiceover, asking followers on her Instagram: “What can be done about @WhiteHouse using @Jet2Pics sound and my voiceover to promote their nasty agenda?”
Jet2 is yet to comment.
