Don’t forget to pick up a pod!: nanocast.co/pod
Michael Doyle is the CEO of KPI Gaming and Nano Community project extraordinaire. We are all into cryptocurrency for a couple reasons. First because we know it will make the world a better place. Second, we know when it is to the point of making the world a better place, if we play our cards right, we will make a lot of money. Most of us are probably more strongly motivated by the second. But not Mike. He has seen the way crypto can make people’s lives better and he wants to continue to see that progress. He genuinely wants to make the world a better place and thinks Nano is the perfect vehicle for it. Tune into this episode to get more details about who Mike is, how he put together the Nano sponsor event for KPI Gaming and what kinds of ideas he has for Nano in the future.

Need to buy Nano, but don’t know what exchange to use? Binance is one of the largest exchanges in the world, has an easy to use interface and is more or less free from glitches. I have personally always had a great experience and would recommend it. If you want to use Binance and share some love, use my referral link!

There are two ways for the community to support the Nano network and in turn make it more secure and decentralized. The easiest way is to open/login to your Nano wallet and change your representative to a trusted rep. You can view information about nodes at nanonode.ninja and the Nano Node Monitor (if the owner has it configured).
The second and more difficult way to support the network is by setting up a node. Nodes help decentralize the voting that takes place on the Nano chain. You can learn more about that here: https://bit.ly/2qmEJoq
Or you can just go buy a pod. nanocast.co/pod
Setting up a node can be really easy and is relatively inexpensive. The first thing you will need to host a node is a server. This can be hosted locally or you can buy server space from a third party. I use Digital Ocean and so far have had a great experience. In addition there are lots of guides written with Digital Ocean in mind. Once you have your droplet you can follow this quick and easy guide: https://nanotools.github.io/easy-nano-node/digitalocean.html (If you have any questions about setting up nodes, Reddit and the Discord are great resources).
