Don’t forget to pick up a pod!: nanocast.co/pod
Zack had the title of IOS developer on the Nano team for several months, but his talent and skills covered much more. In this interview you will begin to pick up on why. It becomes obvious that he thinks things through and is slow to speak. He remembers bits of wisdom he picks up along the way and he communicates those nuggets well. While Zack’s primary responsibility was to build an amazing app for Nano users, he was also able to be a front man in many respects. In this interview we talk about his time on Nano, the roller coaster ride that it was, what he learned and what he would do differently. In addition to getting an inside look at what it’s like to work on a core team, he passes out great pieces of advice. (Disclaimer, I forgot to plug in my mic for the first half of this interview, so my sound is crummy, sorry.)

Need to buy Nano, but don’t know what exchange to use? Binance is one of the largest exchanges in the world, has an easy to use interface and is more or less free from glitches. I have personally always had a great experience and would recommend it. If you want to use Binance and share some love, use my referral link!

There are two ways for the community to support the Nano network and in turn make it more secure and decentralized. The easiest way is to open/login to your Nano wallet and change your representative to a trusted rep. You can view information about nodes at nanonode.ninja and the Nano Node Monitor (if the owner has it configured).
The second and more difficult way to support the network is by setting up a node. Nodes help decentralize the voting that takes place on the Nano chain. You can learn more about that here: https://bit.ly/2qmEJoq
Or you can just go buy a pod. nanocast.co/pod
Setting up a node can be really easy and is relatively inexpensive. The first thing you will need to host a node is a server. This can be hosted locally or you can buy server space from a third party. I use Digital Ocean and so far have had a great experience. In addition there are lots of guides written with Digital Ocean in mind. Once you have your droplet you can follow this quick and easy guide: https://nanotools.github.io/easy-nano... (If you have any questions about setting up nodes, Reddit and the Discord are great resources).
