Mike Flanagan is the king of prestige Netflix horror. He's helmed series like THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE/BLY MANOR and MIDNIGHT MASS. Flanagan and his writing partner Jeff Howard then came up with a dark, gritty and violent retelling of the classic neo-slasher.
