A rather remarkable gentleman by the name of Mike May.

Mike lost his sight as a child, but in 2000, at the age of 46, following multiple procedures involving cornea transplants and pioneering stem cell therapy, Mike regained some sight in one of his eyes.

That’s remarkable in and of itself, but Mike is also an accessible technology pioneer. He is the founder of The Sendero Group - who were the first company to make the power of GPS accessible to people with little or no vision - and is now Chief Evangelist at GoodMaps.

He also happens to be the fastest blind man on two skis - and that’s official!
