(00:11-11:30) Today on The Best Show Ever, the show is live from the Rally House in Willow Grove today and they are ecstatic about the MVP performance from Joel Embiid last night.  (11:30-22:02) The show announces the poll of the day: Did Joel Embiid solidify the league MVP with his performance last night? Then, they debate Embiid vs. Jokic.    (22:02-43:53) Tyrone, Hunter, and Jen pick a winner from the audience for a $100 gift card. Then, the conversation pivots to Hunter’s knowledge of The Beatles music. Next, the show debates Tyrese Maxey’s performance this season versus the Celtics.   (43:53-56:38) Hunter reads a message from a fan saying Maxey needs to focus on playing instead of doing TV commercials and tells the show a proposition his mother gave him to cut his man-bun. Then, they talk to the city, including a caller declaring Embiid the MVP.  (56:38-1:06:21) The Sixers conversation continues, including some audio cuts from Doc Rivers.   (1:06:21-1:28:50) Rich Hoffman joins the show to breakdown last night’s huge game from Embiid and where things stand for the 76ers a little over a week away from the playoffs.  (1:28:50- 1:40:33) The show discusses today’s Phillies’ loss before going back to the phones to talk to the city including a caller who sticks up for Tyrese Maxey.  (1:40:33-1:51:47) Tyrone asks the live audience a trivia question for a shot to win another gift card, and then the show talks to a troll posing as a Phillies fan but is really a Yankees fan.  (1:51:47- 2:12:28) Jayson Stark joins the show to discuss yet another loss by the Phillies as their slow start continues. Then, they go right into today’s edition of What’s Brewing with Jen.   (2:12:28- 2:25:11) The show discusses this brutal start from the Phillies and talks to a caller who wants to shout out the Delaware Blue Coats.  (2:25:11- 2:35:10) The show discusses Boston Globe writer, Bob Ryan, saying Embiid’s performance last night was among the most dominant NBA games of all time. Next, they speak to a caller about the slow start from the Phillies and if they can turn it around.   (2:35:10-2:54:47) The show wraps up announcing a call-in contest for a special tailgate party tomorrow prior to the home opener for the Phillies and doing live trivia questions for those in attendance at Rally House. Finally, they discuss the potential first round matchup for the 76ers.

Jayson Stark joins the show to discuss yet another loss by the Phillies as their slow start continues.

Rich Hoffman joins the show to breakdown last night’s huge game from Embiid and where things stand for the 76ers a little over a week away from the playoffs.

The word of the day is tolerance, because Phillies fans have to show a lot of tolerance for what they are seeing from the team right now. They discuss if it is panic time, what the issues are, and what the team needs to do to fix it (0:00).  They take your calls, continue to talk Phillies, and after it came out yesterday that Hunter Brody does not know who Alianis Morrisette is, Tyrone challenges him to name songs from artists in the 90’s, which does not go well for Hunter (12:16).   Matt Gelb from The Athletic joins the show to discuss the Phillies slow start, Alec Bohm’s hot start, the Phillies lack of pitching depth early on, and more (1:08:08).   Former voice of the Sixers Marc Zumoff joins the show to talks Sixers, his new podcast, and more (1:27:47).   They get back to the calls, talk more Phillies, Tyrone challenges Hunter with more albums to see what music Hunter does and does not know, and Tyrone checks to see what Ricky and Jen will let slide from somebody they find attractive (1:41:25).   Then they check in with Jen to see what was brewing with her today (2:02:20).   For the rest of the show, they take your calls, continue to tease Hunter who bafflingly couldn’t name a single Beatles song, talk Phillies, and get to the question of the day (2:11:08).
