  • Hour 2-Time to sweat or time to freak out? Brock Huard's 'Blue 88'

If Brock was bothered yesterday, Salk is much more so today. That was a terrible loss with sloppy baseball and another waste of a good start. The Mariners have to hit. Not sure what to do about it when you aren’t. You just have to, period. Brock & Salk aren't sure if they used up their energy and are tapped out or if it's another issue, but it's all concerning. Brock's 'Blue 88' covers who could benefit by the Hawks being more aggressive on defense, why is Pete so beloved by his players and if Brock believes Geno can make off schedule plays.

  • Hour 1-Offense stagnant again in Mariners loss, the KJ Wright Show

Another brutal night for the Mariners as they drop 2-1 to the A's and lose the series in Oakland. The worst part is how the only opportunities were squandered by terrible at-bats and Salk can't stand to watch Jesse Winker in the left field one more day. Salk does not envy Scott Servais' position of finding patience & balance. Yesterday's KJ Wright Show was full of fascinating information so we decide to revisit one of the segments to hear how he reacts to Russell's home crowd booing him in his Denver debut and if Russell ever god mad in Seattle.

  • Hour 3-The KJ Wright Show

KJ Wright was livid after Sunday's loss because he thought Pete Carroll may have invested a little too much in the Monday night game and it became about him, leading to the letdown Sunday. Brock asks KJ who the unsung heroes were during his time in Seattle, if he's noticed the defense being more aggressive w/ Clint Hurtt also discusses how Woolen and Bryant are coming along. Salk wanted to know if KJ has ever seen or heard a crowd react the way Broncos fans did last week. Brock asks KJ to describe what it's like fighting father time in his career and how that will impact Russ.

  • Hour 2-M's showing a lack of effort or poor execution? ESPN'S Jeff Passan, 'Blue 88'

Brock is fired up about last night's loss and questions the idea that Luis Castillo is an ace, Salk bristles and says teams just look like they're not trying when they don't hit against a bad team but it's not lack of effort. ESPN's Senior MLB Insider Jeff Passan joins for the first time since his little "slip up" last week to discuss Castillo and the MLB Home Run watches between Judge and Pujols. Brock Huard's 'Blue 88' covers if Michael Penix, JR is a pro, the best tackler Brock played with and what is going on with Darrell Taylor?

  • Hour 1-Should we be concerned about Luis Castillo?

Mariners lose 4-1 in a game where they were uncompetitive offensively and Luis Castillo lost it in the 5th. Santana got the only M's hit of the night but Salk wonders if focus, concentration, or something else we can't tell as normal fans is actually the issue w/ Luis Castillo. Should fans be concerned or was this a blip? Pete Carroll clarified that they have been more conservative on offense to see how the rookie tackles would hold up but they are fine and it's time to open it up more and Kam Chancellor is one of nine finalists for the 2023 HOF class.

  • Hour 4-Answer the Question Jerk and Did We Dodge a Bullet with Russ?

It's the return of Answer the Question Jerk and we get into some big topics like favorite hostess snacks, popcorn in the morning and choosing an NFL quarterback to repopulate the earth. Then, we react to some comments made by DMac of 104.3 The Fan in Denver earlier in the show. Did Seattle dodge a bullet with Russell Wilson's departure? Plus, another edition of Ranked.

  • Hour 3-West Coast Bias and Alter Egos

Salk has a bone to pick with Jon Heyman about his West Coast bias comments and Brock and Salk discuss who should win MVP. Then, we discuss whether Pete Carroll was calling out his coordinators yesterday. Plus, 'Walter' is Logan Gilbert's alter ego, Justin came up with some more for the M's.

  • Hour 2-Potential M's playoff pitching rotation, D-Mac (104.3 The Fan), Brock's 'Blue 88'

Salk starts by saying the Mariners weren’t bad yesterday and good today because that isn’t how it works, but it was a relief after a brutal weekend weekend where it seemed like nothing was going right. Brock did a twitter poll on who gets left out of the M's 3-man rotation in a wild card game and Robbie Ray was the surprise winner but when you look at their recent numbers over the last 7 games, there really isn't much separation. After Russell barely beats the Texans at home we bring in "D-Mac" 104.3 The Fan in Denver. Brock Huard's 'Blue 88' covers what the Seahawks need to clean up the offensive, the blueprint for fixing tackling & who we will see more of moving forward.

  • Hour 1-Mariners get right in Anaheim behind Santana & Gilbert

The Mariners needed that win yesterday and Logan "Walter" Gilbert did exactly what they needed him to do, but maybe the bigger story is that Ty France had a good game at the plate and says he made some adjustments that should help. Salk didn't like the dual MNF games because he created FOMO. We revisit the Pete Carroll Show to hear how he feels after 2 weeks of watching Geno Smith and how he can fix the offensive struggles of the past 6 quarters of football.
