The Seahawks defense kind of reminds Salk of that kids song, “there’s a hole in the bucket, dear Liza" because each time they fix something, it costs them somewhere else. They simply don’t have enough impact up front and maybe they miss some of that steadiness Bobby provided. Salk is very curious to see how Geno responds to this game w/ all of his bad decisions. An ugly, no good, very bad loss by the Seahawks to Sam Darnold & a Carolina Panthers team who rushed for 200+ yards dropping the Seahawks 30-24 at home and slightly dropping the Seahawks' playoff chances. Pete Carroll spoke after the game and admitted the defensive scheme wasn't good enough. Meanwhile 3rd string QB Brock Purdy & the 49ers blow out the Bucs and will head to Seattle for TNF having not given up more than 17 points in 6 straight weeks.
