Adam Copeland is joined by Athletic NFL Senior Writer Mike Sando to talk about his piece of possible destinations for Matt Stafford next season and if the 49ers are the best option. With a head coach and GM change in Detroit, it could be time for them to shake things up and QB Matt Stafford might not want to be apart of that. He is always asked to do a lot in Detroit since the team is usually never that good and that has hurt his play at times. Mike compares him to Carson Palmer when he was with the Bengals, then he got traded away and his career had a pretty good second half. He could be a nice fit in a the Shanahan offense if Jimmy G doesn't work out. Stafford would have more weapons with the 49ers and would have a better defense as well and that would take a lot of pressure off Stafford to try to win things on his own. We shall see this offseason if Stafford and the 49ers are a fit or not.
