艺术治疗的“三层蛋糕”理论

For this episode, we have Miki Goerdt with us. Ms Goerdt is a US Art Therapy Board certified art therapist, and she is now running her own private practice, Emerald Leaf Counseling in Washington, DC. She first came cross the phrase "art therapy" in high school back home in Japan. One day, she read about a man in the newspaper working at a nursing home doing art for the residents there. This article propelled her to study art and psychology in Iowa, the US, and later majored in social work for her master's degree. She discovered the amazing effect of art therapy on Alzheimer's patients during her internship in the Alzheimer's Association in Denver, Colorado. And that's when she decided to make it her lifetime career.
