  • Lime Butterfly Vlog
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=milaan/wttsfvmdov
Papilio Demoleus, also known as Lime Butterfly, is home to my garden. This species is also known as a tail-less butterfly because of its shallow tail.
Today I found this cute creature near our well, he was so calm and cool that she did not even fly off as I approached closer, so I did not miss this opportunity to record a short video for the vlog post.
I hope you will enjoy the beauty of this cute creature. They hardly live for 4 to 7 days, but even their short life span leaves a profound impact & brightens our garden. Nature is amazing.
    Thank you.

  • It's time to celebrate | Happy NUAKHAI '2024 | NUAKHAI JUHAARπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=milaan/epagvkkhcr
    Nuakhai Juhar,
    Happy Nuakhai 2024.(8th September, 2024)
"juhar" literally means "namaste", Juhaar is a peculiar term used in the tribal belt of Jharkhand and Western Odisha.
Nuakhai as a festival is also rooted in Agriculture(Paddy, in particular). The first harvest of the granary is offered to "kul devi/devta" and "gram devta", and then that is distributed among all in the family to mark the celebration of this event "Nuakhai".
Nuakhai falls every year on the next day of Ganesh Chaturthi.
    #### Nua-khai
    Nua= New and Khai= food
So it is basically a festival of harvesting or possessing the new grains of rice.
A lot has changed with industrialization. For the economic benefits, most of the grains are hybrid in nature these days and the tenure has also stretched to 120-130 days(from sowing to harvesting), so in reality, harvesting season is in Nov/December in my locality, but we used to get some fresh harvest(of paddy) from the hilly areas to celebrate this festival and precisely for performing the rituals of offering the fresh grain to deities.
After offering and distributing the "NUA CHAULA(newly harvested rice)" to all family members, the members of the lineage of a particular family gather and perform "NUAKHAI BHETGHAT" and then they assemble together to enjoy the feast.
    https://img.inleo.io/DQmTkkjvUcMbCh97Sm9Mu1KS9pQ7hH7q7TTfqKJ3tot9nrk/nu-khai.jpg
In the evening time, the celebration further expands and the people join and gather together to dance like anything to tune in the frequency of celebration.
You can see the NUAKHAI feast and the different cuisines of NUAKHAI. Culturally we are supposed to eat on "sal leaf" plates(hand woven) on this particular occasion, but slowly it is being replaced with paper plates(machine-making), not a good thing. I will try my best to restore this tradition at least in my family to make sure that we eat on "sal leaf" plates on this occasion.
So it was full of unlimited celebration. I wish you all good health and well-being and I wish no part of the world suffers from food shortage, that is an ideal wish on this occasion because it is essentially rooted in Agriculture(Paddy).
    Thank you.

  • Adorable Parrots

    https://img.inleo.io/DQmRmPHvqpmE1ZS1p7Nn1hkHMkX5y55iXJoQnwYHh4tgh9r/xs1%208.jpg
This is the third part of the "Parrot vlog". As I told you earlier I had been to my Sister's house where she had raised a few parrots. A total of 4 parrots are making the ambiance full of sweet mimics and sounds.
    https://img.inleo.io/DQmdnJxsPfPRE69FZ1AYTf6FRd5ThNVvtKZ2aVGUEvzaoi5/xs1%206.jpg
    https://img.inleo.io/DQmXZvK3GjTmfKYa8zpQ1HjGnVbP1KuiFaxGyiuKSraXG4p/xs1%207.jpg
Parrots by default are adorable in their looks and colors, but humans generally train them and make them mimic anything to make it even more interesting.

    https://img.inleo.io/DQmT78LvPwaLzHSy65hbUcmW9rWXTkiDDMRJyED91Do2auW/xs1%204.jpg
Hey, I personally do not keep any animals or birds in captivity; I am not a proponent of it, but what I have seen here is that they love to cuddle and they are set free during the daytime and kept in cages during the night for their safety.
    https://img.inleo.io/DQmTGYP135LAQf1roctGbkq3zscMfj5e3p9MeQCXSuzVRB7/xs1%203.jpg
I have also suggested my sister create a big garden and create a natural home and ambiance for them, which will also be a favorite pastime for their family.
    https://img.inleo.io/DQmZgW57qDySDQ27nBVjUpJXF5LR8AxZTBzdxSrkAR1fxcp/xs1%202.jpg
    https://img.inleo.io/DQmVrbzL72tXLmokD6fsHVZEFDphyRnfSD21K3JCUYHxEyH/xs1%201.jpg
You can see in the video and also in the series of pics how they love to cuddle with my sister and her kids. And how they find their home more friendly. I tried to go close to one of them, but she was not interested, so I did not try again. Maybe because I am a visitor, the parrots are not that easy with strange people.
I hope you enjoy the video and the series of beautiful shots.
    Thank you.

  • I made an audacious attempt | Song-Fazan bhi hai Jawan Jawan(Nikaah)
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=milaan/vmpfapkddf
I am just a bathroom singer....not a professional one(s please pardon me for that)...in fact, I am not even qualified as a bathroom singer.
But today I made this audacious attempt to sing this beautiful sing-- Fazan bhi hai jawan jawan.
I am just trying to sing the "anatra"(the intermediate part) of the "Fazan bhi hai jawan jawan" song.
The original singer of this song(Fim- Nikaah, 1982) is Salma Agha, she was also the actress in the movie, Nikaah.
This song is basically on the sad side because the actress's expectation of a blissful married life was replaced by the workaholic husband who did not pay heed to the romantic aggrandizement of his newly married wife.
Salma Agha has done justice to this song, no one can match her caliber, particularly for this genre of song.
    Thank you.
