Wake Up Sydney – Weather, Traffic and Trains (Sat 13 June 2026)
Good morning, Sydney! It’s a cool start at 14.6°C, heading for a mild top of 22°C under partly cloudy skies. In the CBD, expect 22°C with sunny breaks; Parramatta hits 22°C and partly cloudy; and Bondi is 22°C with a gentle coastal breeze—ideal for a beach walk.
On the roads: No incidents reported this morning. The network is clear—drive kindly and keep it smooth.
Major rail maintenance is on this weekend. T1 North Shore: No trains between Hornsby and Milsons Point all weekend. Buses replace trains, also stopping near Crows Nest and Victoria Cross. Use Metro between Chatswood/Crows Nest/Victoria Cross and the City for faster connections.
Berowra/Hornsby services are running to Central platforms 1–14 only. For North Shore stations, change at Epping or Central for the Metro, then connect to replacement buses from Victoria Cross, Crows Nest or Chatswood.
T1 Western Line: Changed timetable and stopping pattern. Richmond–Olympic Park services make extra stops at Harris Park and Granville; you may need to change at Parramatta or Granville. Penrith–Central services run to platforms 1–14 only.
South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong all weekend (commenced 3:40 pm Friday). Buses don’t follow the train timetable—take an earlier bus to meet trains at Wollongong.
Tip: Check your trip before you head out.
