Milestones are often thought of as just service awards.
Employees are humans who have different moments of celebration in their lives. Not just service awards and retirement awards, but, birthdays, new bundles of joy, completing higher education/graduations, and weddings. These are just some of the milestones that should be celebrated within teams to create engagement and culture.
Employees will spend more time with team members at work than they will with their own families. So, it is appropriate to acknowledge the milestones that make us human.
It is the little things that can make a difference at work.
