Because Jesus rose from the dead, the resurrection is not just a truth we believe; it is the power we live from. Through Christ, we are given power to live a new life, face life’s trials through the Holy Spirit, and hold firmly to the hope of heaven.

In John 4, we see Jesus, the Master Soul-Winner, engage a Samaritan woman at the well. By breaking social barriers, creating spiritual interest, and challenging her heart with both truth and grace, Jesus reveals that no one is beyond the reach of God’s love. This passage reminds us that followers of Christ are called to join Him in the harvest by sharing the hope of the gospel with others.

John the Baptist was called the greatest man born among women because he lived his life pointing people to Jesus rather than to himself. He understood that his purpose was not to build his own ministry or reputation but to prepare the way for Christ. When we recognize who Jesus truly is, the One from above, the One who speaks God’s words, the One filled with the Spirit without limit, the One with all authority, and the One who gives salvation, it leads us to the same conclusion: He must increase, and we must decrease.

Jesus’ call in Matthew begins with a personal invitation, “Follow Me,” and ends with a clear commission “Go and make disciples.” Mission 120 is not a pursuit of numbers for pride’s sake, but a prayerful commitment to love people and advance the gospel in our families, our community, and the next generation. Because Jesus has all authority and promises to be with us, we can move forward with confidence and purpose.

In John 3:1–21, Nicodemus comes to Jesus searching, and Jesus makes it clear that no one enters God’s Kingdom through effort or religion; we must be “born again.” God’s love motivated His gift of Jesus, God’s grace offers real hope, and faith in Christ is the only way to receive eternal life. The Light has come into the world, and the question is whether we will stay in the darkness or come into the Light to be forgiven and transformed.

Jesus cleanses the Temple during Passover, exposing worship that had become corrupt, transactional, and self-focused. He reveals that the Temple always meant to point to Him, the true presence of God, and the source of access to the Father. Worship that honors God begins with repentance, flows from love, serves the body, and moves outward on mission.

At a small wedding in Cana, Jesus performed His first sign by turning water into wine, revealing far more than His power over nature. This miracle displays the goodness, glory, and grace of God; showing that Jesus cares about ordinary needs, fulfills what the law could not accomplish, and gives abundantly beyond what we deserve. The purpose of this sign was clear: that His disciples would believe in Him.
