I know, but this is something that needs to be done. in light of everything that has happened with Vanessa Guillen I think its important to try and unpack some of the things that happens in the military with regard to sexual assault. We have to figure out why this is happening, how can we stop it, how to get victims to actively report, how to handle the aftermath of a report. A lot of these are things that are often left by the way side. so in today's episode I talk through this to try and begin a conversation within our work spaces. If you are a victim of sexual assault please reach out to you local victim advocate, Chaplin, and your leadership to begin the process of reporting and completing a rape kit.
