We are talking with Matt Sager and Patti Mandrell, for Refuge Services. Operation Refuge is a unique horse therapy wellness program available free of charge to veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and also available to active military personnel.  Therapy is provided in individual, family, and group formats depending on the needs of the soldier.  The VHT program offers veterans and active military personnel the opportunity to learn the art of horsemanship. We are talking with Larry Sparkman about: Venado Macho AKA "WOUNDED HERO'S OF AMERICA"..  Venado Macho" was formed in 1995 by a small town taxidermy and hunting retail family business to be a deer hunting contest in the state of Texas held at the Freer Deer Camp in Freer, Texas.   One of our largest fund raising events for Wounded Hero's of America each year is the Venado Macho hunting contest.  Every hunter that enters is doing so to help a Hero.  Funds are also raised  throughout the year with different raffles.  Our single focus is to give back to our Wounded Hero's that have given so much of themselves.    Larry_Sparkman_for_Wounded_Heros_of_America.mp3

Bill and Evonne Williams are the co-founders of Patriotic Productions and its mission that include Remembering Our Fallen. They were the volunteer organizers behind multiple Honor Flights that took 3,500+ of veterans to their memorials in Washington DC. Remembering Our Fallen is a photographic war memorial that honors our country’s military Fallen from The War on Terror (9/11/2001 - Present).  Unlike brick and mortar memorials, Remembering Our Fallen is designed to travel and includes both military and personal photos.  Its legacy will be that these men and women will be remembered and their names will be spoken, while helping to lessen the grief of their families. We are talking with Tanya Meadows, Tanya works for the American Windmill Museum in Lubbock TX.   This 28 acre tract of rolling hills, (rolling for Lubbock) was ideal for the large number of windmills the organization owned at the time.
