Milk prices are the economic life blood of rural Wisconsin, according to Pete Hardin. And thanks to the recent drop in butter prices, he predicts that Wisconsin farmers will see heavy losses this fall when it comes to their milk values.
Meanwhile, with high demand driving up cattle values, some farmers may choose to cash out.
