another show packed full of good new music. track #1 is an as yet unreleased carl craig remix. tiefschwarz team up with tracey thorn of everything but the girl fame. i like her voice... why doesn't she do more stuff? another cut off the new booka shade album which you should buy if you're into that sort of thing & also a track that blows my mind - claude von stroke's who's afraid of detroit. awesome. his album is good too so buy it as well. he did that deep throat track that i played a few months ago. sweet. but yo... my house smells of fresh homemade pizza so i'm off to investigate... enjoy.

a number of people commented on the intro i used for the last show... it's amazing what girlfriends will leave on an answering machine sometimes isn't it? i've got a bunch of messages recorded so look out for them on upcoming shows & if you're calling me beware!!! this shows message is from many moons ago. i don't even know when, maybe like 8 years ago? anyways... i was getting fired for breaking all the rules. what a rebel. onto the music... i've been in a very 'electronic' mood lately as past mixes have shown, this one is no different. hope you're feeling it. i wish i knew how to push the buttons these guys do...

is the future of music going to be online? i'm not sure, but i can say that this whole online thing is interesting. i've tested a few sites out, & if you have any suggestions send them my way. i still prefer to be in the record store listening to music that i want or picking up on tunes that other people are playing though. however... shopping online at 2am in your boxers does have its advantages!! if you like any of the songs check dancetracksdigital.com & beatport.com. hope you like the mix & the new show intro. ha!!

i was mucking about in my room before getting ready to record the show and i came upon this record & that and then the next thing i knew there was a new mix staring me in the face... i think its got a bit of an african twist hence the name. track #1 is awesome. yes, you heard me. nice one dublex if you're listening. there are also a couple cuts from the long lost nuphonic records. oh nuphonic how i miss you. may you rest in peace... i think i'm going to do a nuphonic tribute mix soon. love the idjut boys & laj track as well as the funky lowlives cut. that one used to rock milk. parties to no end. oh and i was checking the statistics for my podcast and really surprised to see that there were 792 downloads of show #82. a few of you have emailed me & got in contact via myspace.com to pass along your appreciation... i'm humbled... hope you like this one... i messed up a mix but try to ignore it... it was done live baby!

so yeah... i got a new haircut... i don't really see a difference, but other people do. looks like i've now got a hair dresser instead of a barber? on another note... yes... the qso track. hot! out hud!!! oh man... i love them... don't you just love it when you discover music that's not really your genre but it still kicks? go out & get the new out hud album. NOW! (and in case you didn't notice i'm not a fan of capital letters) the digitalism remix is awesome. chicken lips come out with something new after a while & the new peven everett is a lot of fun. i want to hear it really loud. maybe i should go to more clubs & get out of my bedroom... but my bedroom is where all the fun is... there is a t.v., a computer, my bed, kleenex, records... cd's... records..... me.....................

yes, it's time for the 'love you!' mix (the name makes more sense if you subscribe to my podcast in itunes...) coming at you from the foot of my bedroom while i wear my ugly pajama pants & an even worse orange gap t-shirt that saw me to cuba with my first girlfriend. umm... it's an old shirt that's managed to stick it out... anyways... my records are a mess and i don't know what is where. this is mix is a mish mash of stuff that's piled up here, there, in that record bag and that one too. hope you like it. oh yeah... the mylo mix of freeform five blows my mind. it's great.

it's 2006 and by the time i thought of doing a best of 2005 show i had already started this one. silly me. i'm all about the recaps though... actually it's my favourite thing about the end of the year. everyone has their own best of this list & best of that list. the world recaps they show on tv are pretty cool too. you'd think that i'd actually watch tv to see them, but i don't really watch tv. anyways... enough of my nonsense. thanks for tuning in and i hope you'll be around for the whole year... then you can send me a of your favourite milk.radio shows list. enjoy le musique!
