The world throws so much chaos and turmoil at us that we must step away and read the scripture. Matthew 11-28-29 tells us , -Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.-

Believing in Jesus Christ is a total transformation in our behavior. We who believe become new through His righteousness and become a new creation.

All of mankind stands guilty before God. We are justified through Christ for salvation. Therefore no one can be justified by good deeds even those made through the law.

We all will give an account of our life as we stand before God at the judgement seat. We must turn to the Lord and repent recognizing His authority as Sovereign God and He will abundantly pardon our sins.

Romans 1-16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to Salvation for everyone who believes for the Jew first and also for the Greek. We are subject to Christ and His teaching in Scripture. He has redeemed us to be Holy. We are to live by His word everyday.

The person who claims God but doesn't obey Him is a liar. 1 John 5-3 states when we love God we keep His commandments. The assurance of salvation comes when we desire to obey Him. A righteous dedicated life proves the power of the cross and the resurrection of the tomb.

As believers we are sinners saved by grace. We must confess to Him daily. Philippians 2-12 tells us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. We must examine our life to be sure we are true followers of Jesus Christ. If we keep His commandments we will experience great joy in our lives.

Christians should study the word in its entirety. Our words are just our opinions but Gods words are the absolute truth. If we do not follow His oracles in Scripture then we will suffer judgement. Psalm 1- 1-3 tell us to have nothing to do with the ungodly. We are to walk, stand, sit, and delight in the law of the Lord. As Christ followers we should desire to please God by following, honoring and doing what glorifies Him. Our relationship with God is found in the word of the Lord.

Do you have a committed relationship with Christ- Do you proclaim without sacrifice- Are you a follower because you love His ways and desire a relationship with Him- Everyone who calls themselves a believer must examine themselves fo find if they have a true faith in Jesus our Lord.

To be a Christ follower means to give up worldly desires and commit to being faithful to God's Word. In the Old Testament the Jews had to be circumcised as a symbol of their relationship with God. Today Baptism is a symbol of the relationship we have with Christ . The symbols are not recognized by God as a means to enter Heaven. They have always been seen as the decision to be a faithful follower of Jesus.
