Pastor Don is retiring from his 21-year-post as our Associate Pastor. This Sunday was officially his last as our Associate Pastor. As such, he continues to share with us a message born of his heart towards us all these years and as we move into our next stage of life together. As he moves to Wenatchee to prioritize family and grandchildren, we will receive from his learnings directed towards our good.

Pastor Chris commences our summer series of Study - Proverbs: Wisdom for Life. Today’s teaching is entitled, “The Way of Wisdom,” and is taken from Proverbs 1:1-7, through which we learn that wisdom trains us in discipline, provides us healthy relational ways and is to be meditated upon to gain everything it can offer us.

Pastor Chris brings a devotional teaching born of his recent time in Ecclesiastes and Philippians. In this teaching, entitled “Growing Towards Contentment,” Chris shares of how recent disappointments fostered a crucial moment of recognized need for growth and maturity in his life.

Pastor Don will soon be retiring from his 21-year-post as our Associate Pastor (be looking towards July 24th as we have set that Sunday as our time to honor Don and Sue as a congregation). He shares with us a message born of his heart towards us all these years and as we move into our next stage of life together. As he prepares to move to Wenatchee to prioritize family and grandchildren, we will receive from his heart directed towards our good.

We had the privilege of hosting musical guests Chris and Steph, who together go by the name Out of the Dust. They have a remarkable story of love, faith, love lost, faith lost, love found, faith rediscovered and God’s deep work of healing and restoration. They lead us in worship and shared their story and some original songs.

Pastor Chris concludes our study of Forgiveness by investigating Luke 17, considering the call of Jesus to extend the generosity of forgiveness to others in this teaching entitled, “How Do We Forgive?” Several encouragements are offered to help us practically embrace a way of life that allows us to forgive others from our hearts as we seek to live at peace with all people.

Just as water is such an important need for our physical body Jesus speaks of himself as the spiritual water that is necessary for our soul. All around the world people are searching for something to satisfy their spiritual thirst that can only be quenched in Jesus. As we take a break from the Forgiveness sermon series, Pastor Iziah will encourage us in how Jesus pursues our hearts and meets our needs from the simple yet profound story of the woman at the well.

Pastor Chris continues our study of Forgiveness by investigating Matthew 18, considering the lengths to which God, in Jesus, goes to forgive us - and his invitation to join him by us choosing to forgive others.

Pastor Chris re-presents the Building Project (originally called Vision 2020) with updated goals and numbers as we receive from a story of God’s way with Israel at a moment of building together in the book of Exodus.
