  • Sweetest Thing I’ve Ever Known

In this episode of Across the Board, Podcast, Kelsie, Juliet, Blair, Armani, and Marjan discuss their thoughts and feelings regarding music. They start with an interesting fact about music and then speak on music's role in learning, especially in children. They describe their individual tastes in music and how music makes them feel, which often depends on the mood and what instrument they would be if they could be one. Can you guess who would be a guitar “because they’re hard to play”?

Taking a trip down pre-covid memory lane, the group reminisces on some of their favorite concerts, songs that they associate with romantic relationships, and even break up songs. They share their candid thoughts on albums and singles, noting many of their most loved, as well as how playlists play (or don’t play) a role in their lives. Be sure to stick around for Blair’s salty public announcement about Cowboy's fans!

About Frank B. Simpson Jr., MBA:

As a Financial Advisor, I focus on connecting all aspects of clients’ financial decision making to help them prioritize and pursue the goals that matter most to them. I work with business owners, not-for-profit organizations, high-net-worth individuals, and families to understand their financial situation, help them articulate their short- and long-term goals, and then I recommend a financial strategy aligned with what they want to achieve. Just as a physician should not prescribe medication without completely identifying a patient’s symptoms and experiences, I commit my efforts to deeply understanding each client’s financial past and present priorities before I begin to craft their solutions.

I hold a Masters of Business Administration degree, concentrating in Finance, from the University of Delaware's Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics. I have had the privilege of working with several fortune 50 companies. These experiences gave me a first-person view into and allowed me to participate in, the operation and business considerations that contribute to some of the more successful businesses in the world. In my free time, I enjoy following sports, traveling, and spending time with my family.
