Spoiler alert: I got it done! Here's the full story on how I tagged out on my Utah General Archery deer tag in 2019.
The guys from Sahn Outdoors are some of the most down-to-earth, fun, and chill guys I think I've ever met. They love the outdoors and live every day with the #sahnliving mindset. Apart from having a huge Instagram following, Sahn Outdoors runs a killer podcast and has a great YouTube channel.
In this episode we talk about several different topics and dive down a load of rabbit holes, but it was one of the funnest episodes I've recorded. The Sahn Outdoors guys talk a lot about being real and genuine, traits that I believe are crucial for true success and happiness. If you listen to their podcast or watch their YouTube videos or view their Instagram feed, you'll easily see that the Sahn Outdoors crew strives day in and day out to produce raw, real, authentic content that is downright fun and entertaining!
This episode of Millennial Hunter is a little more laid back. Ashton and I discuss hunting trends and crazes that are taking over the hunting industry. From flat brim hats to the future of hunting itself, we let loose on what we think the future holds for these hot topics. Some of these hot topics we discuss include hunting merch, Instagram hunters, curved vs. flat brim hats, hunting YouTube vs. hunting TV, popular hunting books, technology use while hunting, and much much more.
Ed Woolstenhulme is the face behind the iconic brand, Muley Tines. What started as a simple desire to post pictures of big mule deer quickly turned into a huge profile of thousands of followers all over the country. Ed is a savvy businessman who is always thinking of entrepreneurial ideas. One of his most recent endeavors is his mineral lick Rack Snacks (formerly know as Awesome Sauce). Apart from all that, Ed is also a hunting guide for his family's guiding service in northern Utah. Ed is just a jack of all trades who knows how to kill big mule deer.
Scott Mackintosh is one of the best guys I know. He's also one of the best hunter's I know too. Despite being extremely lucky drawing hunting expo tags, Scott is a devout defender of hunting and what it means. It goes much more beyond just killing an animal or providing for one's family. In this podcast Scott and I discuss why hunting is so important in today's society and how much hunting means to Scott, himself.
The 2018 hunting season was a roller coaster of ups and downs. In this podcast Ashton and I cover all of our hunting adventures from this year’s hunts. We cover Idaho deer hunting, Utah archery hunting, mule deer in the rut, finding elk honey holes, and hunting in your tennis shoes. Hope you enjoy!
