This week, we added another generation to Millennial Meets Gen Z! Allison's dad joins us for Braveheart (1995), lends his movie-trailer voice to our new intro, and proudly rocks his “Awesome Like My Daughter” T-shirt for the occasion. 😎

Hannah isn't exactly a fan of historical movies, especially when they come with nearly three hours of battles, blood, and violence. But throw in a good love story? Now you might have her attention.

We talk Mel Gibson, William Wallace, the massive battle scenes, historical movies, and whether Braveheart deserves its reputation as a '90s classic.

Then we dive into the history the movie definitely took some liberties with, including the real William Wallace, the Battle of Stirling Bridge, and the good, the bad, and the complicated story of Robert the Bruce.
