Only 2- of American millennials subscribe to the very basic elements of a Christian worldview, yet 61- still claim to be Christians. Does this mean that 97- of American professing Christians actually subscribe to a different religion - the religion of humanism- Is it time for a new church council so as to discern the difference between the false religion and the true faith within evangelicalism today- We provide a suggestion for initial language for a new ecumenical statement for the 21st century church, to follow up on the Councils of Nicea and Chalcedon.
